Pastor Emeritus Dr. William D. McNealy

Dr. William D McNealy was born October 5th 1960. Dr. McNealy education matriculated through St. Peter's Academy, City Temple Academy and is 1979 graduate of Lincoln High School all located in Dallas, TX. Dr. McNealy furthered his education upon completion of high school by attending Bishop College 1979 -1981, a historically black college. He then transitioned to Aspen theological Seminary where he received his Bachelor's in Biblical Studies in 1986, Masters of Biblical Studies in 1988, and his doctoral degree of urban Ministry in 2002. From there his pastoral journey began with Samaria Baptist Church in Waxahachie, Texas then Saint Paul Baptist Church in Mineola, Texas next was Friendship Baptist Church in Glouster, Va. Finally he was named 7th pastor of Greater El Bethel Missionary Baptist Church from 2005 to December of 2022. On May 11, 2023 Pastor McNealy was elevated from labour to reward and gained his wings.  Pastor McNealy will always be remembered and surely missed, but we rest and gain comfort in knowing, "to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord!"
