Senior Pastor - Dr. Slavoski L. Wright Sr

Dr. Wright is more than abundantly blessed to have found his missing rib in his wife Mrs. Umeka Wright. Dr. and Mrs. Wright are blessed with six wonderful children, Kori, Slavoski II, Hannah, Braylon, Ryan, and Dixon, and one grandson Kade. Dr. Wright and his family currently reside in Grand Prairie, TX and know and believe that every step that he takes is order by God.

Dr. Wright spent a great deal of time with his grandparents, the late Dr. C.C. McNealy Jr., and the late Ellen McNealy. His mother, Bobbie, and grandparents played an important role in developing Dr. Wright into the man and minister he is today. Dr. McNealy had devoted a great deal of time and knowledge to Dr. Wright unknowing to him of where he would be today. One phrase that has always stood out from his grandfather, “You Know Where You Been, But You Don't Know Where You Going." It was under the guidance of Dr. McNealy at the Greater El Bethel BC, where Dr. McNealy served as pastor, Dr. Wright declared his calling of God to preach an uncompromising gospel. He served as Youth Pastor of the Greater El Bethel BC, Assistant Pastor of the Greater El Bethel BC, Youth Pastor for the Community Missionary Baptist Church of Desoto, TX, where Dr. Oscar D. Epps Sr. serves as pastor, Youth Pastor for the Great Commission B.C. where Dr. Douglas Brown serves as pastor.

Dr. Wright is also a published author.  First Lady Umeka Wright birthed the idea of a devotional and they co-wrote the best best-selling blended family devotional “Blended and Loving It” A Thirty-Day Devotional For Blended Families.

He received his high school diploma from a Dallas Independent School District Justin F. Kimball. After being called by God to preach the gospel Dr. Wright earned a Bachelors and Masters degree in Christian Ministry from Wayland Baptist University. Dr. Wright also holds an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from North Central Theological Seminary. He is also a proud member of the greatest oldest & coldest brotherhood of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. 

Vocationally, Dr. Wright graduate North Central Texas Council of Governments police academy receiving licensing as a Certified Master Peace Officer of Texas and is currently a Police Sergeant for Baylor Hospital Police department.
